🏵️ Doha 🏵️

With the dust of my Guru’s lotus feet,
I cleanse the mirror of my mind🌹
And describe the pure glory of Lord Rama,
Which bestows the four fruits of life.🌹

Knowing myself to be ignorant,
I remember you, O Son of the Wind.🌹
Grant me strength, wisdom, and knowledge,
And remove all my sufferings and impurities.🌹

🏵️ Chaupai 🏵️ 

1. Victory to Hanuman, ocean of wisdom and virtue,
   Victory to the Lord of monkeys, renowned in all three worlds.🌹

2. Messenger of Lord Rama, abode of immeasurable strength,
   Son of Anjani, known as the Son of the Wind.🌹

3. Great hero, mighty as a thunderbolt,
   Destroyer of evil thoughts, companion of good sense.🌹

4. Golden-colored, beautifully dressed,
   Wearing earrings and curly hair.🌹

5. Vajra (thunderbolt) and flag adorn your hands,
   Sacred thread shines upon your shoulder.🌹

6. Incarnation of Lord Shiva, son of Kesari,
   Your glory and valor are worshipped by the whole world.🌹

7. Learned, virtuous, and extremely intelligent,
   Always eager to accomplish Lord Rama’s work.🌹

8. Delighted in listening to the deeds of the Lord,
   Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita dwell in your heart.🌹

9. Taking a subtle form, you appeared before Sita,
   Taking a formidable form, you burned Lanka.🌹

10. Assuming a gigantic form, you destroyed the demons
    Thus completing Lord Rama’s tasks.🌹

11. You brought the Sanjeevani herb and revived Lakshmana
    Lord Rama embraced you with joy.🌹

12. Lord Rama praised you greatly
    Saying, You are as dear to me as my brother Bharata🌹

13. The thousand-headed serpent sings your glory
    Saying thus, Lord Vishnu embraced you.🌹

14. Sanaka, Brahma, Narada, and sages
    Along with Saraswati and Shesha, sing your praises.🌹

15. Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of directions
    Even poets cannot fully describe your greatness.🌹

16. You rendered great service to Sugriva
    Uniting him with Rama and granting him kingship.🌹

17. Vibhishana accepted your counsel
    And became the king of Lanka, known to all.🌹

18. You leapt across the sun, thousands of miles away
    Mistaking it for a sweet fruit.🌹

19. Holding the Lord’s ring in your mouth
    You crossed the ocean with no surprise.🌹

20. All difficult tasks of the world,
    Become easy by your grace.🌹

21. You are the guardian at Rama’s door
    None can enter without your permission🌹

22. All happiness is attained in your refuge
    One who has you as protector has no fear🌹

23. You alone can control your immense power
    The three worlds tremble at your roar🌹

24. Ghosts and evil spirits do not come near
    When the mighty name of Hanuman is chanted🌹

25. Diseases are destroyed and all pains removed
    By constant repetition of Hanuman’s name🌹

26. Hanuman frees one from all troubles
    Who meditates on him with mind, body, and speech🌹

27. Lord Rama is the supreme ascetic and king,
    You accomplish all His divine tasks🌹

28. Whoever comes to you with any desire
    Obtains immeasurable fruits of life🌹

29. Your glory shines through all four ages
    And your fame spreads throughout the universe🌹

30. You are the protector of saints and sages
    Destroyer of demons and beloved of Lord Rama🌹

31. You are the giver of the eight siddhis and nine treasures
    This boon was granted to you by Mother Sita🌹

32. You possess the nectar of devotion to Rama
    And forever remain the servant of the Lord🌹

33. Through your devotion one attains Lord Rama
    And is freed from the sorrows of countless births🌹

34. At life’s end, one goes to Rama’s abode
    And is born again as a devotee of the Lord🌹

35. No need to worship any other deity
    Serving Hanuman grants all happiness🌹

36. All troubles are destroyed and pains vanish
    For those who remember Hanuman the mighty🌹

37. Victory, victory, victory to Lord Hanuman
    Bestow your grace as a divine guru🌹

38. One who recites this a hundred times
    Is freed from bondage and attains great bliss.🌹

39. One who reads this Hanuman Chalisa
    Attains success, as Lord Shiva is witness.🌹
