🙏🏿 Devoted Pandavas, the Five Brothers 💥
Just as five vital breaths sustain the body, in the same way King Pandu had five sons.
From the elder queen Kunti, through Dharma, Vayu, and Indra, were born Yudhishthira, Bhima, and Arjuna.
From the younger queen Madri, through the Ashwini twins, were born Nakula and Sahadeva.
🙏🏿 Cause of King Pandu’s Death 💥
King Pandu had two wives, the elder queen Kunti and the younger queen Madri.
He was cursed by Sage Kindama that if he united with any woman, he would immediately die.
One day, King Pandu united with Queen Madri, and at that very moment he passed away,
and Queen Madri also embraced sati along with him.
🙏🏿 Childhood of the Five Pandavas 💥
The upbringing of all five sons was done by Queen Kunti alone.
All five brothers were righteous, truthful, and just from birth.
They were forgiving, simple, compassionate, and devoted to the divine.
Due to their father’s death in childhood, they endured great sorrow.
After King Pandu’s death, the kingdom rightfully belonged to them, but since they were children,
his blind elder brother Dhritarashtra became king and treated them unfairly.
