Queen Jhalibai was the queen of Chittorgarh and a disciple of Shri Raidas Ji.
She had deep faith in saints.
Once, a group of saints arrived near her residence.
Among them, one of her spiritual brothers was also present.
She had a strong desire to have their divine darshan.
However, the king did not give her permission to go for the darshan.
Instead, he ordered strict security at the gates so that the queen could not step out of the palace.
No saint or holy person was allowed to enter or leave the palace.
If anyone came or went, the guard would be severely punished.
Because of the king’s command, all the guards remained extremely alert.
Meanwhile, the queen’s longing for darshan grew deeper.
Remembering the holy feet of the saints, she stepped out of the palace alone to seek their darshan.
By the glory of God and the grace of the saints, none of the guards were able to see her leaving.
She peacefully met the saints, offered food, arranged a sacred meal, and honored them with devotion.
When the king came to know that the queen was not in the palace, he became very angry with the guards and scolded them for not following his orders.
The king said whatever has happened has happened, but now make sure the queen does not enter the palace again, otherwise everyone will be punished.
After warning the guards, the king himself began to stand guard.
But what happened next was astonishing. The queen had already returned to the palace just as she had left, and no one knew how.
When the king realized that the queen was inside the palace, he was stunned and his eyes were opened.
The king said this is truly the highest form of devotion, this is a miracle.
From that day onward, the king himself joined the queen in serving God and the saints.
His faith and respect for the queen increased. This is true devotion.
Before true faith and unwavering devotion, no obstacle can stand for long.
When a devotee remains steady in devotion through mind, words, and actions, God Himself creates the path.
If devotion is firm, miracles surely happen.
