💥Arrival of the Young Seeker (Rishi’s Son)

Once, a Rishi’s son named Kots came to his court. Maharaj Raghu welcomed him with great respect and washed his feet.
The young seeker accepted the hospitality, greeted the king, and was about to leave.

The king asked: “Why are you leaving without saying anything? What brings you here?”
The Rishi’s son replied: “I have seen that you have given away everything. There is nothing left to give me. What can I ask of you?”

💥Maharaj Raghu’s Response

Maharaj Raghu said: “No, Brahmin. Please tell me your wish. I will do my best to fulfill it.”

The Rishi’s son said: “I have studied the Vedas under my guru. At the end of my studies, I requested him for Dakshina (gift). He said, ‘I am satisfied with your service; I need nothing more.’”

“But after repeated insistence, he finally said, ‘Bring me fourteen lakh gold coins.’ That is why I have come to you, Maharaj.”

💥Maharaj Raghu’s Generosity

The king replied: “With my bow and arrows in hand, no learned Brahmin should leave my court empty-handed. You shall have what you wish.”
He prepared his army and said, “Tomorrow morning we shall fetch gold from Kuberlok.”

💥The Gold Treasure

The next morning, the Treasurer informed: “Maharaj, last night it rained gold. The treasury is full of coins.”
Maharaj Raghu himself checked and saw gold coins everywhere.

He loaded the gold onto camels to give to the young seeker.
The Rishi’s son said: “Maharaj, I only need fourteen lakh coins; this is far too much.”
The king replied: “This gold has come for your sake. You are its rightful owner. How can I keep it for myself?”

Though the young seeker hesitated, Maharaj insisted.
The Rishi’s son took only what he needed and returned to his guru. The rest of the gold was distributed among the Brahmins by Maharaj Raghu.
